I'll start I have 15,000 but it has just reset to zero with a new battery :dunno

Just over 21,000 on my 2000 RSV.

Bought it about 4 years ago with just under 9000 miles on it so I've used it a fair bit, although it's still under avg miles per year. :thumbup

I should think one person with the highest miles will be carbon kid i think his has about 45000 miles i believe...

between carbon kid and kiss my rsv i think both over 40,000 getting close on 29,000 though thanks to gestapo badboy

Mine's got 12.000M and I got it with 9000M. Taking it to the alps in 2 weeks :devious and hope She will behave!!

The guys with highish mileages, like CK etc....any issues so far on the original lump at those mileages?.

You don't hear much about high mileage Rotax V990's so it would be interesting to hear any thoughts.

brought mine on 20059 miles now its on 16915 :biggrin ahh that will be the new clocks i had to fit after the old ones when BOOM, but ive probs done 200mile since i brought it back in January so say 20259 miles

Bought my 06 model 18 months ago with 1500 miles done, now on 13000..Apart from crap back brake, problems zero..
Mileage is a big thing these days with bikes, if you dare use them, you slash the value.. Don't think I'll buy one so new next time, as its too big a financial hit..Dealers look goggle eyed if you turn up with a bike to p/ex with over 10k showing..

Talking about high mileage problems, the Rotax engines seem to do high mileage if serviced correctly with very few problems.. The Jap stuff not always as bullet proof as you imagine if they have some miles put on them..My R1 ate its gearbox at 18k which is common on the R1/R6 range..My ZX9 Blew its head gasket at 18k, so did two friends same model, and another had a cracked cylinder head. Thats weight and cost saving for you, in a market dominated by low mileage toys..

bought it with 15k now its got 47k, plenty of life in her, at that mileage clutch plates were only just blueing, only had starter solenoid fail. Still original motor, apart from the CER 57mm TB's of an 03. Keep it serviced and it should be good for a lot more and I really kick its arse everytime I'm out on it.Great motors!, when she eventually fails I'm going to slot a low mileage 03 motor in, spent too much on everything else to want or need to change, Cos most peeps change their bikes every year or so, people are paranoid about putting miles on.. I say fekkit thats wot they are there for!!
cheers Ck
