white vs. blue shock

whats the difference with the stock sachs shock (blue spring), and the aftermarket white spring sachs?
 
As far as I know white spring is the stock one and you cold buy a diferent color one.

A spring is a spring :D, all that matters is for what weight its for.


Sorry, didnt read the first post as I should, I think there is no diference in the shock, at least I never heard of a aftermarket sachs shock for the mille, if you are looking at something on ebay they probably just changed the spring.

One more thing, the stock shock is good for street riding, but if you plan to have a race bike you would be better off changing it for a aftermarket one, because stock one tends to get softer if ridden hard.

The stock Showa forks are oke.
