Good evening folks, i am gonna do an oil change over the next week or so, what oil do you guys recomend 2004 RSVR ...How about castrol sbk semi synthetic or what else is good...cheers...:thumbup

Hi.My one is 2002 RSV-R,I dont like sintetic oils.I alwayse used Castrol GPS 15W50 its semi.Everything ok.:thumbup

CK is spot on! :thumbup Just had mine serviced at Southern Cross and they put in the very same, and they certainly know there stuff Carpe! :thumbup

is 15/50 the weight to use as I have heard of people putting other stuff in but cant remember the reasons..

i use mobil 1 15w 50

15w50 is the correct oil to use

Hmmmm, i think i'm gonna take this 10/40,s back, so can you get the silkoline comp 4 in 15/50 then...?:roll

yes, its comp 4 15/50 that I use mate, I now three other aprilia garages that use the same.

Any premium brand 15W-50 oil will be ok.

Personally I'd go for a semi rather than a fully synthetic as have heard of problems of clutch slip with fully synthetic.
