i will be getting some pirelli tyres, but which are the best for fast riding on road, corsa sp,pro's,diablo corsa etc etc

For the road Diablo Corsa III, good mix of miles and stickiness, just watch them in damp as they tend to move around a little bit.

I would go for the rosso. The tyre can handle more than you can give it and you will get better millage.

Lots of friend who used to ride supercorsas have them and they couldnt be happier :)

ive got the diablo supercorsa's on mine, sc1 front and sc2 rear. fantastic once warmed up, really grippy and inspire mucho confidence! been told they are like a dog on lino in !the wet though!

Yup I think the minimum operating temperature Pirelli talk about for the Super Corsa's is 50 celcius:eek: (tyre temperature that is)

Had Super Corsa Pro's fitted for a while when I first got the bike, I reckon that this is the sole reason the last owner sold the bike on, wouldn't advise you to get these mate. Slightest bit of dampness on the road or cool running temps and they start to become a little fidgety to say the least.

Why Pirelli's??

Rode a mates R1 with Bridgestone BT021's fitted last week and it felt really nice and predictable, if they can cope with that power then they'll be fine on the RSV.

Supercorsa's aren't all that bad...

OE on the Triumph 675 Daytona and most magazines reckon this gives it an edge in road tests.

But as many people have said, be honest with yourself about how you ride.
If you don't need Supercorsa's then get a Diablo and be happy(ier)!

got a friend that works for pirelli, and i can get huge discounts ie,£105 set of diablo rosso
not bad hey,can't grumble

SC Pros are awesome on a dry track but they won#'t give you much mileage. I've got a new set of SC BSBs on my spare rims but i haven't got to try them yet. Doubt I'll be using them on the road much - reckon one of the less track biased models will do fine on the road.

I rode through the first half of last winter on part worn supercorsas (Sc1/Sc2) and they were ok. Not so good on sheet ice, but nothing much is, the lack of back brake is more of an issue than the tyres. The only drawback is that the don't last 1500 miles (I doubt a brand new rear would make 1800miles).

If your not track daying every few weeks, go for something more road biased like the diablos

My RSVR had bridgestones when I got it and the front was utter crap, it steered fairly slow, didn't warm up that well and understeerd when pushed hard. A Sc1 front transformed the bike.

Supercorsa's gave me two unexpected hairy moments on damp cold roads in winter.

All other pirellis (road not race type) used have been fine.

Supercorsa's not worth it imho for roads. :)
