Hey guys, I am new to the forum. Any help on this would be great because I have no idea. I have always had sport bikes, and now I have purchased a 2015 Capo travel pack which I will pick up in a week. I have gone to many mc stores and have got mixed responses regarding type of helmet I should buy. Some say full face or modular as the wind will wreak havoc with a dirt/dual sport helmet, and others say go for the dirt/dual sport as the windshield should push the air/wind over any helmet. Any ideas or advice? Thx
Problem is they are all different depending on the riders build etc. modular is ideal for such as myself as I wear glasses. Noisier so you need to wear decent ear plugs with it, I have a Nolan N90 which is really comfortable but noisier than a single piece full face helmet due to the mechanism.

Thanks for that mate. I will take that into consideration before I make my final decision. I am 6'2 so I guess the bike windshield won't be as protective if I get a dual purpose helmet, unless I change the windshield. Also, where I live it gets crazy hot here so I don't want my head to bake in the lid which might be a good argument for a modular. The search continues.
Don't settle on ANY helmet until you try it on for fit...some helmets are made for "Charlie Brown" heads and if your head is elongated it won't fit right...

Did you buy it already? If not you can get the Italian color model on sale and save about 300 bucks..
I've changed from only using open face helmets all my life to a Nolan N44. Still gives that open face feel due to the wide opening and no restrictions on peripheral vision. Helmets are a very personal thing depending on what is your priority...safety, vision, cool factor, comfort, etc etc

I just purchased an Italian Helmet (origin Gladiator) with factory installed Bluetooth. Adventure helmet look with the functionality, of a standard helmet. I needed 1 larger size, tiny Italians lol
