really lookinhg forward to some good weather cos it's been too long since my last ride.......no need for the usual comments, but willing to receive help from 'bill dobbins esque' bike babe.......it'll never happen but that's my daydream for the new year
back to the real world, neutral still a problem but have bought the new jet and can fit it before the better weather gets here.
i'd like some louder pipes and have read the cored pipes articles with interest, looked at mivvs, akrapovic, arrow, etc
for the technically minded among us, would straight through pipes give increased power as well as noise, would the mapping need changing and would dyno fine tuning be needed? local dealer just said go for akrapovics the cored pipes won't make any difference except noise, is this correct?
if i do go for aftermarket pipes i fancy the mivvs because they are smaller and hopefully lighter....if anyone has fitted them are you pleased and any pics?
last ramble...... had a great time at brands last year at thundersport as spectator but was really surprised the twins weren't at the front with the jap bikes, i guess it's cos it takes loads of cash to make them competitive and most people don't have the cash at that level. who cares, the ride home on the rsvr was sweet and plenty quick enough for me.
anyone have any news about this year's aprilia day meet?
