Where's the spring gone?

Went up to Achintraid over the weekend, chucked it down the whole way from Strontian. Came back yesterday.. Snow FFS !!!
At least it got sunny by the time I hit the Fort. First bit of dry road in 200 miles of twisty bits and it was in Fort William! Some kind of weird stuff going on. Good run even though the weather was crap, makes you glad to be on a Tuono, and live near the best roads on earth. Better wash the bike now, god knows what they've been coating the roads with this year, but it looks evil.

***** down here in cumbria aswell - pissed down all morning and gonna chuck it down all day tomorrow. Ruining my days off but forecast to lift for the weekend when Im back at bloody work. Typical.

Love the A82. Used to do Fort Wm each yr with a gang from down here. Cops getting a biy heavy Oban area tho.
Went out yesterday and got wet - bollocks, just cleaned & polished the bike.

Did they move Oban then? Last time I saw the place it was glued to the A85. Bloody towns, got a mind of their own these days. Never would have happened when I was a boy. Forecast for more buckets of rain over the next few days, but hey, if you live on the west coast and don't have the right gear, then yer a fud. So, off we go again to see if the Corran ferry is still on the A82, or has migrated to the M25 for some fun with the softies.
