where to get map changed

Is there anywhere in the UK that can swap the map's on my ECU from map1 to map2 if i remove the ecu and send it to them,i realy want some place that know's what there doing:yes

long way from you but a good guide as to what to pay. merseyside aprilia charged me a tenner when i had the rsvr.:thumbup
 
and it took only 5-10 mins, minor fettle. ride in have a brew,go blast. Baaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrppppppppppppp :thumbup

problem i have is im 10 miles from john-o-groats(lands end) and my closest dealer is 220miles away,thats why i was wondering if theres anyone out there that will do the ECU without the bike,i will post it then and price isnt really the problem:eek maybe make a few phone calls:cheers:kicknuts:thumbup

look around on the forums, i'm sure you just cut a wire to the ecu to change to map 2. (not a random wire by the way) don't quote me though

Doubt that very much on the new engines. You could do that on the old uns. I did it on me Falco. Get it done professionally if in doubt.

as for cutting wires its not possible on the newer bikes:thumbdown
 
Its a good run for you so take a day and pop down to skinners in Dundee **** hot great guy just be sure to give him a phone as they are very busy.

Did mine in around 15mins and they are good for servicing.

So you get one of the best runs there is down to Dundee.
