I am still here, I keep posting now & then.

Since we all got re-calibrated a few weeks ago, I think a lot of the humour has been toned down a bit.

Aldo, how do you know about my choice of clothing.

In the last couple of months, there have been a couple of threads & posts that could have been viewed as a bit harsh & off-putting to the sender.
To be fair, I did cringe a bit when reading them, being pleased I was not on the receiving end.

I "personally" was re-educated, probably quite rightly for assuming that all people have a similar sense of humour to myself.
Coming from the noth east, many people have had a clip for saying something that was meant to be in jest.

I understand that to contribute to this sort of environment is not for those with thin skin & those that stick with it reasile that most of what is said is done without any nastyness & is done to brighten the days of others.

TBH most of the time it does.

So in conclusion, I tend not to take the piss too much, realsing that some one has genuinly been upset from a daft comment tends to make me think twice before I press the send button.

But then again, f*uck them, if they cant stand the heat, get out of kitchen. (Apologies for that totally up-provoked comment)

I am still waiting to hear after I returned the form stating who the rider was.

Its been nearly 3 months since I was nabbed.

I did not want to tempt fate by calling them for an up-date.

Do you know, or can any one advise what the expected time between NIP & court appearence is ?

I must admit, my average speeds on a run are well down now & I spend a lot of time looking in my mirrors, checking for speed cameras, hidden police cars etc.

It seems that when ever I meet up with people on get togethers, a big %age of them have been caught in some sort of speed trap.

Some have been caught twice without knowing, getting NIP letters within a couple of days.

I informed my boss, who is willing to write a letter of support (which went down like a lead balloon during my appraisal)
Looking on the bright side, at least the summer is almost over & the tax will have run out.
If I tell them the T is SORNed do you think that counts as mitigating circumstances.

If (god forbid) you do lose your licence ... pay a pretty 18 year old Eastern European babe - preferably one who could suck a golf ball down a garden hose - to drive you to and from work and pleasure you as and when required.

It used to be 6 months from the date of offence for it to go to court.
I aint been on here for a while so its news to me, bit of a ******* getting caught tho'
As for the banter on here, its mint, & I don't give a **** if anyone gets offended. Thats what these 4runs are for = letting off steam & having a laff
