Sorry crap at wheelies, fairly good at stoppies though :thumbup

Its hard to find a decent camera man for such things. One with some sense of shutter delay, after 12 U-turns and 12 pics of either an empty background or me wayyy of in the distance, I tend to give up on the idea!

So got any pics of the stoppies then nick? :D

My little RVF was amazing at stoppies!

No sorry, & I'm too **** scared to do them any more, last summer did a rolling stoppie outside the cafe on Madera drive in Brighton. When I came to a stop the bike just sat there on the balance point for what seemed like ages, if I'd had farted it would have gone over forwards. I'm getting too old for that ****

Haha, you know your on that fine line when you let go of the brake slightly so the front can ease out forward abit....and you just stay standing up there with no brakes on lol. Had afew like that meself.
On the plus side, if you had your visor, and no one could see your eyes of terror, they probably though you were EPIC! lol

On the wheelie side, give it a try! The mille doesnt suit wheelies off the throttle so much I find, as you run out of revs bringing it up that way, but it responds better than the R1s did to a little flick of the clutch.
Just pull of from the lights gently and just before you`ve engaged the clutch fully, drop the last little bit keeping throttle steady, its just leaps up lovely, with plenty of revs to play with and balance. (just cover your back brake! and brace witt your legs so you can shut the damn throttle if it all goes pete tong!)

Yeah, dark visor, epic, round of applause, then they noticed the smell as I shat myself :lol:lol

Ok will give that a go :biggrin I'm in the process of convering mine for Tuono bars cos me poor old wrists cant take it any more, so that should make wheelies easier.

Yeah definitely. Well we are pretty local to each other, so we`ll have to get all the southern boyz together and practice, maybe even bring a camera :D

This is the only mono pic I can find!

Nik- of course not......;)

Wat sprocket have u got on it to do a power wheelie in second mine will only cum up in first

Mine too, infact I need to clutch it in second, and I`m running a 16front 42 rear I think. How much do you wiegh CK? That helps, easier to bounce the forks, and compress the shock, not mention balance it. I`m a light f**ker so the balance point is near vertical!

So why have you stopped?? :)

16/44 with std chain equals short wheelbase, thebike was full cf inc wheels and tank so fully wet it weighed 175 kgs and i weigh 11 stone nekid, yee ha
stil prefer stoppies !

Ps- i aint tried it on the v4 yet, bottled it, mind you it floats up nice on power on a wee rise.. ive stoppied it with great results tho
