when swopping brembo wheels for oz ones can you use the brembo spindles to fit on,is it just a case of changing wheels over..:biggrin

yep spindles are compatible - just plug the Oz's in and bobs yer mothers brother :thumbup

will the dics on my oz wheels fit brembos ? 2000 mille so i can sell my bike with the brembos fitted

The OZ's use Brembo discs also

the difference is wether or not your calipers carry two pads or four pads per side
and
if the donor bike had the same or different calipers

two pad calipers ran from 98 to 00.5

and the 4 pads ran from 01-03

then came radial setup

you have to match the disc to the caliper because all the discs fit all the wheels.

the difference in the discs is obvious the early ones have a much wider track (thats the shiney bit that the pads run on):thumbup

hope that makes sense:dunno

fair one m8,know where your coming from, had the same dilema few years ago, sold everything and bought a gas gas 280 trials bike..lasted a couple of years then the mille came along, told myself i would ride sensably ....doesnt happen..
i,m sure you will make the right choice ....

biff......can you not just reign it in and slow down on the road a wee bit?. :dunno

I don't mean that to sound patronising!!. I know what you mean as far as every time you go out on the thing you can't help but ride fast but I had an incident occur a few years back which involved a mate being killed on a run we were out on and it shook me up a fair bit and caused me to revise the way I ride on the road. Not saying it takes as something as drastic as that to happen to change your riding style but it was a wake up call for me and I now find it very easy to exercise a bit of self restraint. I'll still ride quickly where its safe to do so but I do tend to be a lot slower nowadays when out on the thing, especially in company on a group run. Not through lack of ability and skill but simply through self preservation. :thumbup

hi gary ive had 3 mates killed over the years and a few that are part cripples and at 47 you would think i should drive slower without thinking about it ,i wish it was that easy but in saying that i can ride normal pace for ages but as soon as i hit a road i know thats bendy im off and the more bendy the road is the more i need to impress myself but its great fun at the time lol ive had a few close calls but never came off or hit anything in the 6 years since i passed my test (lie) just remembered lol i fell off twice in the one night in thick snow" **** lol what a night that was" long story was only doing 15/20 mph was on my suzi teapot bag off ***** . but that dont count lol i mean since my thunderace and the mille propper bikes haha .but i know your right gary i just need some self discipline and a bit if good thinking. i could still get done on a cruiser so im aswell just to hang on to the mille and see if i can ride a tad slower than i do but still have fun at the same time . thanks for your input guys.

anyone up for a chillout run ? under the tonne day out would be a good start and that means you to bryanthegoat lol your worse than me lol .
