Hi folks,

I sold some wheels on flebay yesterday.

They are from a Gen 2 Tuono. The ones that look like OZ bit aint.

The gent that bought them has a 2001 mille and he says the front will not fit:dowhat

Confused as I had a set of OZ hoops off my other 56 plate Tuono ( same forks etc) and they fitted into my 52 plate Mille.

Is the guy fleecing me or what...?:eatcorn

Thanks guys... Flick

if your Gen2 had Radial calipers then the width of the disc mounts is different to non radial versions.

He says the wheels is too wide...?

I about know the calliper difference, thats sorted with a spacer behind the disc. Thats how I ran my later spec OZ rims on my non-rad mille.

if your bike was radial the hub mounts will be 5mm wider. The spacers make a non radial wheel fit a radial bike. If you go the other way you have to machine 2.5mm off each side disc mount otherwise it won't line up with the calipers.

+1 to what Spoonz has said matey, GenII radial fitment wheels will not fit GenI without machining.

yep what they said...98-03 bikes will fit all later bikes including RSV4 with 2.5mm spacers behind the discs

later wheels will fit earlier bikes with 2.5mm machined i think from the caliper

so he's not trying to fleece you at all unfortunately.....

Thank you guys. Head span a bit then as I had them fitted to both my bikes but cant remember muckin about with spacers etc. Too many bikes I guess...

So.. any one want to buy some .. err ... What the **** have i got then...? How do I describe them on flebay.

GEN 2 - STANDARD WHEELS ( Oz lookalikes ) FIT GEN 2 ONLY.

Like that eh.?

Thank you folks.

yep sell them as Aprilia OZ replica's fit all 04-10 rsv + tuono's + rsv4's with radial mounted brakes

would fit (i'm sure) very late 03 mille's ( black framed )with the radial brakes like colin edwards reps

Alright lads, ive got 2005 rsvr would these fit ???i don't think ive got radial calipers???

hey Dude,

if your calipers mount like this then yes:

If they mount like this then you need to machine your calipers

Right guys... My OZ rims, I ran them on my 56 plate Tuono ( Radial callipers ) I also ran them on my 52 plate Mille ( NON - Radial callipers ) they came with spacers behind the discs.

They are black , come with good 2CT's and have 'BRAKING' wavy discs. Fleebay item 220774409309

I have the reserve a bit high in hope, and a buy it now of £750 :devious ha.

To the forum tho, as we are all buddies £575 no offers. :thumbup

Laterz.... Fx

do you mean the other way round matey, spacers on the radial forked bike and without on axial - which would make them GenI wheels (i.e: GenI wheels will fit GenI no probs & GenII with spacers no probs, GenII wheels fit GenII no probs & GenI with machining of wheels disc face or caliper).

Oh man... May of fecked this right ups eh. Its been months since I have mucked around with these wheels. Going to have to re-post thme on Ebay with a differant description I guess eh?
