its got 25k on it, totally standard apart from previous owner stickering it up, it has few light scratches marks etc..on it from use (could t-cut/polish most of them out if you have time). new mot going on it tomorrow to sell.

front discs have slight warping on them so have already got another set to go with bike.metzeler z6 rear tyre fitted 50miles ago and a new matching front still to fit.

when i got it the previous owner had replaced the headlight as it cracked (but with a EU one) i have put a sticker over the lens to pass an mot, but i have a UK headlight to go with the bike (will fit if time allows)

i bought it just over 1year ago and replaced the sprag clutch/battery and mot'd/serviced it.road it around loads untill late december.ive always looked after it but since its sat in the garage. ive taken it out today and starts /rides great.

J, Looking at 2 that have recently (last 36hrs) finished on ebay its around £1500-1650. For some reason, unknown to me, the RSVs just dont fetch much. I didnt pay much more for my 2002. You could put on ebay for a 3-5 day listing and it would find its own price but then charges apply, There has been a fes RSVR's that have been for sale for not much over 2K recently. Have you considered breaking it? maybe stick a post up with prices and see if you generate enough interest prior to making the decision. I know you can end up with making alot more this way.

It's not the ideal time to sell, it never is! From what I've seen there's not a lot to be made from breaking standard gen 1 RSVs. The real interest seems to come when bikes with modded parts (carbon stuff/open airbox/nice cans/pc3 etc) are broken and obviously RSVRs when the OZ and Ohlins 'bits' go very quickly and for a good price.

You could wait a long time to get rid of your bits and just have a trickle of £ coming in if you break it. No harm in seeing if there is any interest as Jonny says.

Just my 2p.

Rob :)
