Depends on model year,...I know of a couple of Gen2 bikes with 15k+ on the clock

What model year is the bike?
Best advice I can give is check for any crash damage.Start the bike up,...get it warm and listen to any nasty noises from the engine.Check all the electrics work properly,...ie,lights,indicators,warning lights, etc.
Any faults,...despite the vendor claiming they are an easy fix,...walk away.Trust me,if it was an easy fix, they would do it themselves.

HIGH MILES? well they gotta be ridden but the main dealers do like like to spank the **** out of this subject with scare mongering tactis anything over 2 miles and i am sorry sir we can only offer pennys cos you have gone over the one mile a year thresh hold

most bikes can do very high miles these days but as long as the serviceing is bang on?? i would say anything between 5k and 10k a year? would be average

Hi

Its a gen 2 on an 08 plate

has full service history and one owner

Runs fine so they say

I asked a similar question on "the other channel " recently ! about mileages . there are several forum members with tuono,s with in excess of 18,000 miles .

the super low mileage examples that you see for sale , ie ,08 reg with less than 5k on the clock. is more a garage ornament than a bike to be ridden

mines an ,07 on 57 plate with 16,000 and perfoms perfectly with no faultys whatsoever and still looks like its just been wheeled out of the showroom .

the high mileage = tatty knackered old nail syndrome is just a myth fueled by traders and the latest must mean greatest power ranger set !!!

( a high mileage bike does need a service hist tho , but sometimes they are to be taken with a pinch of salt tho )

An 08 with that sort of mileage will be just about run in, just make sure that it's been serviced at the correct time, you need to ensure that the rear suspension linkages
have been done, otherwise as above, I have an 08 that has 7k on it and to be honest it's only just starting to run properly. My previous bike was a '03 Gen 1 with 24k on it when I sold it and that ran sweet as.

I hit the 20k mark on my 08 ower last weekends FudFest, bought it new and I reckon it's running better now than when new. :yes

The fooker goes like stink. :thumbup

'07 with 29k on it and she still tries to kill me every time I go out

Only thing I've noticed is some of the fasteners are looking old, but for an 11 year old bike she still shames bikes half her age in speed, power, handling and quality of finish.
