Not happy about all the crappy autoblog and mcn **** clogging up the pages i thought this was for rsv riders/owners not a commercial free for all :jack
Dunno might just be me but seems wrong.

get off our site you fookers blah blah buel blah honda blah blah shitstacker:jack:jack:jack:jack:jack:rant:rant:rant

Its ******** the mods have allowed as they've open up there own forum section called Press release what a load of poop

I only joined recently and found a good bunch of like minded Mille owners....If this press **** continues boys Im FoRKING OFF elsewhere. Just sent my e mail complaint to 'Mods'. Suggest we all do the same.....POWER TO THE PEOPLE

well, for one...its us that's doing it not autoblog or MCN. there should also be WSB and MotoGP news as well. We thought you guys would like an a place to catch what's going on with the motorcycle world.

were we wrong?

i sent this to Roger, since i got an email from him, but I thought everyone one should be able to see it so we can get some feedback.

Roger,

I can understand the disinterest in the Harley stuff...do people even ride those bikes still, ha! I thought some sort of news on the site would be good though. Ideally it would be race results and the such, but then we have problems with it spoiling the races for people. Right now it looks like only the "news" sites are added, and the first day of that the system goes and grabs all the old articles, so it might be an inaccurate representation of how much news those sites will post regularly. We're still playing with the system, if we can't sort it out right....i guess we'll kill it.

We can only improve it with your feedback, keep it coming. :)

Yes very wrong the whole idea is for people on here to swap stories and exchange knowledge not to have all this crap pushed on us my vote would be to get rid

Is there anyway of these just updating in the Press section and not figuring on the list generated by clicking either on today's posts or new post's? With the amount generated, there is a likelihood of genuine posts being overlooked/lost in the jumble. I'd take a rough guess that people click on one or the other of today's/new and have a browse through. Bit of an eye opener to suddenly have 2 pages of threads instead of maybe 5 or 10 updated threads.

News and autoblogs are all well and good, and informative at times, but if they make the forum less user friendly then you run the danger of losing the users. Just my 2p :)

Now then boys it might just be me but its got its own section, if ya not interested dont click on it, simple as that :dunno:dunno

Oops. :blush Sorry.

It grabbed a heap of stuff in the first hit, I've pulled the amount of articles right back now, so it shouldn't interfere with you normal browsing of the site.

Thanks Steve....good idea to include press stuff and agree with previous sentiment...if it can be kept off the 'new/daily' posts somehow it will be an asset. Then it will not interfere with the reason most people come to this site which is primarily for an exchange of ideas/information/keeping in touch.

:stupid

No offence, but I don't see the problem with it?.

In fact, I've only just become aware of it since this thread was started and I curiously clicked on it to see what was inside.

Thats how little it bothers me. :dunno

As already said, dont click on something you dont want to/cant be bothered to read.

Simple as that tbh. :biggrin

You could always add the ignore option for threads you do not want to see, for example, if MCN send race news and you add MCN to your ignore list then you will not even see them :thumbup

Johnny, i'm not sure if that works. I don't think you'll see the post, but you'll still see the thread.
