Right, you can't go out on your bike anymore, ever, but you still have to be involved in some kind of motor related activity. What would you do ???????

I'd get back in to off roadin in me Landrovers.
 
sit oan ma erse n get a zillion zillions post count on the T Zone forum! Sounds like folk oan here already :eek:).

Same here Nobs,,,try and get my series 3 back it had been fitted with a Toyota 2Lt engine just before I bought it. I fitted a full Military roll cage rear individual seats with harness, free wheeling hubs Disco transfer box rock sliders engine pre heater, soft top and safari, ohh and I nealy forgot a SNORKEL
 
id take out me enduro bike ,honda xr400 fun but slow compared to the T. Problem is they closed all the green lanes round our way... restricted byway? what sign?..

Used to try and keep it simple meself Pete. Bit of weight off, trim the chassis back nearer the wheels etc. Right gear, right tyres and theirs not much a 2-1/4 diesel won't get over or through. I was in LRO once when I took the V8 Safari on the off road course at Billing. The shot was of me hitting the bottom of a stream a bit hard and you could see the dog in the back being thrown in to the front. Break em on Sunday and spend the rest of the frikkin week bashing the buggers back together. Nowt like pulling a 20k Rangie out of a hole with a 600 quid series 2. Happy days.
 
prob be still in me garage turning ***** on me lathe, and making bits to turn into a T.
 
how dae ye turn a *****? is that the same as polishin a turd?
 
thats the problem rico, at the end of a hard day, all you have is a shiney turd.

im with you there nob, only we used what we lovingly refered to as the "land rover recovery vehicle" LOL
it was a 4500 cc petrol landcruiser.. MMMMMM.
