Make sure the exhaust bracket is facing the right way. I did the same and got a little scratch on mine as well. Exhaust facing inwards and bracket on wrong way around on mine.
Hi Super. Take the exhaust hanger off. With mine it was obvious I'd hung it wrong as where they meet isn't iexactly in the middle of the exhaust its just off centre. Then just swop it around. I'm assuming the carbon hangers are exactly the same as the stainless ones.
I had this on mine its the rivet on the exhaust that's done the damage. Mine never did it till I had the bike loaded up with luggage
I've had some spacers made at work to push the exhaust away from the swing arm 10mm I've fitted, I may have some 6mm ones floating about if you want them.
I also fitted some carbon covers to hide the damage mainly because I'm a tart
Should there be some spacers between the exhaust hanger and the footrest bracket? Both my Leo Vince and Arrows use them. The Leo's come with a thicker spacer for clearance on one side.
Akra's have a off set spacer if ya get ma drift. About 4mm down to 1mm. If it was me I'd get some EvoTec hangers as you can move them, assuming you don't take pillions that often.
the standard can that was on my Tuoldo put a nice scratch on ma swinger, put a Gianelli oval can oan and its well close, only misses by about 4-5 mm is this normal. dinnae want it to start dragging while cranked over. any thoughts guru's
