Depends what type. The one that goes under the headstock ( the best IMO) yes they do but I just used washers on a pin I got supplied with after badger told me and it holds fine. If you do get a headstock stand and you buy a pin that fits let me no what size it is please.

I agree headstock stand is the way to go so you can drop forks out to do seals etc.
But if only for tyre changing/cleaning or tyre warmers the ones that go into the bottom of fork legs are fine and cheaper. You can flex the stand to get a nice fit. With some bikes the pins can hit axle clamp bolts and damage threads but the Ohlins dont hit not sure about showa.

I was looking at the harris stand mille is B28 (28mm pin) later rsv is B26 (26mm pin).
Quick question, the Mile has a plastic trim under the headstock presumably to stop crap getting in, but it also stops you getting to the underneath of the bottom clamp, does it give much protection or can I just lose it so I can use the pin type stand?

The new shape model has a hole in the plastic trim to allow access.
