any 15/50 semi synthetic is fine
if you are changing the oils be aware it requires more than 4 litres
i use mobil 1 because it comes in 5 ltr packs and it was only £38.99 but its now £47.99

I've used Rock oil this was fine

i've used Motul the 5100 was fine but the 300v full esther caused clutch drag when cold

I used Rock Oil Guardian for a while but swapped over to Putoline Syntec 4 15W/50, been using in my RSV for years now.

My local Ape dealer uses this in all the RSV's they get in to service and work on.

No issues at all with it so far as far as clutch slip goes, despite it being a synthetic oil. There's one up from it called Syntec 4 Plus that the guys at the dealer near me do not recommend for Mille's though.

could i use 15w 40 semi syn would that b ok plus there is a slipper clutch fitted does that affect which oil i should use :confused

i wouldnt use 15/40 i once used 10/40 and the engine got rattly when hot.
the fact that its got a slipper clutch doesnt make any difference but as it's a wet clutch avoid car oils with friction modifiers
