I have started polishing and fetteling ready for the 'off' very soon! I was wondering what magazines people are reading, I used to be a Ride and then Bike reader but I have gone off them. Had a few Practical Sports bikes over the last few months and like it but not much on the RSVs, may have to wait a few years......:roost:roost:roost

Masturbating Furiosly!!!!! But moving on i dont buy bike mags anymore , i read em at asda [ most arent cling filmed] When i see a true in depth report on a bike including little detils like what it does to the galleon and not about bikes spinning the back wheel up or where i can quote "get my knee down at 123mph on a fekin german road" They had proper mags when i were a lad like cycle world [american but ace write ups] and if i ever see that **** from performance bikes [ the imbecile that cant have his photo took without pulling a childish face] well i tell u wot ees gonna get a slap rodney!!! oooh stop press ive got a guitar and a kindle pps and i bought a peavey amp and the volume does go all the way to 13 [ spinal tap reference i believe] lookin forward to spring more each day january over with tonight hip fekin hip. couple of little bits fitted to ape but spent a grand last winter so it stands me at a fortune ,,,no pockets in a shroud. [ no so called bike testers were harmed in the writing of this e mail ,,, we live in hope]ppps is living in hope better than living in Barrow ? probably

Practical Caravan!! I cut out the pictures and stick them on the wall. Then I mark them off each time I give one a swift kick as i'm overtaking, I do stay away from any being pulled by a Transit though as I don't fancy an argument with a bare knuckle fighter!!!

Looks like you`v invested some time into that.

I`v always read Fast bikes, because they used to test bikes to the limits. I havent bought a mag in ages now. Keep wanting to, have a flick through everytime at tescos , but the content never lives up to the cover. When they do another all out group test of the 2012 bikes I might get one, and its interesting to see evrything thrown in the mix.

nice power valve, madman machine.bet Griff at aprilia performance would love this.

Building this:

I've put it together with bits left over from buying and breaking 2 Y2K RSVs over the last year.

Having made more than my money back on both of them I realised that I had pretty much a whole bike in bits lying around the garage so I bolted it all together.

I've had to buy a few odds and ends for it but until i splashed out on a second hand Ohlins rear shock for it a couple of weeks ago and then had it refurbished I'd spent virtually nothing.

I reckon it will be track ready for less than £500 so I've named it project "cheap as chips"

Just need the LHS inner air duct and coil covers to be able to finish it, but trying to source them second hand is proving tough and I'm determined not to pay for new parts!

If anyone has a spare set of wheels going cheap then let me know ;-)
