Hi folks

Its time to change the chain and sprockets, so who uses what, and where did you get them ?

I want to keep the present 16-44 gearing.

Thanks in advance :thumbup

Get the Afam red or blue chain mate (110 links for 16/44), look on demon tweaks for prices.very strong, barely stretch even at new.Or Tzubaki I like them too.
I personally dont like DID, had two snap on me in the past. Plus the red or blue afam is blinging with the OZ wheels.(not kean on gold..anything)
cheers Ck

Just had a new ek x ring chain fitted with a 'Supersprox ' rear sprocket..Only done around 300 miles and the chain needs tensioning already..Hopethat's just an initial stretch.

If it is for track work Richie, put a 520 pitch on it, i use Talon for all my stuff for track use.

Just sent you an email re the wheels:thumbup

Thanks for the options :thumbup

Will have to check Demon Thieves website

Badger: Read and replied :biggrin

bagder matey, would a 520 conversion be ok for me on the road? I like my 190/55 racetechs but the chain is messing up the tyre.
cheers CK

I used 520 on mine for two year with no problems, if you think about the stresses they are under when racing, you will get less miles but they are cheaper, the added bonus is some free extra power as the weight the motor is lugging is a lot less, it is noticeable.

Richie link for Talon here

cheers for that Badger matey, I noticed the diff when I used 520 on kwaks, it just spun up soooo much more freely...glad to hear the mille will be fine with 520. Guess thats the next mod then cos I love those 55 profile tyres.
cheers CK

Going to try a 520 as well :thumbup

I just got a 520 Conversion Kit from the states. Vortex rear 44, AFAM 16 front with a RK Gold GXW Chain. Parts and shipping from the states to OZ whole deal for just under $200 AU. I got it from Sum Of All Parts...they do have a Fleabay shop also. Cheers
