Right ive been roped into taking a weeks riding to Madrid with a few other mates at the end of June :biggrin.

The Plan was to take the RSV but my old man has offered me the use of his Ducati 1098R as he is off to America for 4 months so his bike will me sitting there doing nowt.

Carrying luggage aint a problem as there is a car coming with us, so everything will me in there. So boys and girls what one do i take ???

Cheers,

Take the 1098 and rag its arse off :biggrin also saves you putting 2000 miles on yours :thumbup

1098, u can take the RSV out anytime and saves u the mileage on your bike. But cruel as is your old mans bike but as the saying goes 'cruel to be kind ^^ '

1098 all day long!
Saves all your milage and a chain and a tyre,,

Ride it like you stole it!:thumbup

1098 , jammy ______. Take the duke, and take the aa cover. happy riding. Does your dad want to adopt, am house trained

I wouldn't ride either of them ,If I was you proberly best bet is to volunteer to drive the car..................

Thanks for the replies fellas,

Seems it's a unanimous decision, The Duc it is :thumbup. The only thing that concerns me is the amount of miles i have to do on such a small bike. Im 6.2ft and the Ducati is small, im hoping that as soon as i start whipping it's arse the leg ache will soon where off !!!

I recently bought myself a 2005 KTM 450 SMR and was tempted to take that but i guess it aint that practical, id have to stand up most of the way, the seats like a razor blade !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheers,

Ritch
