It a little hole on the back of the engine. I am wondering its purpose? Does anyone know?

Yeah I think that's gasket

Probably a little tab to hold it with when positioning it

U thanks for translation :) But I still do not understand the meaning of the hole, it seems that is all the way through inside the engine? Or does just look that way?

It's where two halfs meet and it's to stop fluid leaks, so it will go all the way through as such!

I'm guessing you don't have a hole in your engine!!!???

If you look at the drawing in this link it shows part 54 as the gasket and gives you an idea what thy do, I know it's a head gasket but you get the idea

The hole is not a hole, it's a lip between the crankcase halves to help lever them apart when splitting the engine.

HTH

yes, my "hole" is sealed :) than it's ok, if it's only for separating the engine, I don't need to wory :)

Which gasket is this? Has anyone replaced it? I have some small leaking from this point and winter is comming, so it is perfect time.

on this picture engine is very clean, mine has some burned oil in the middle (above marked hole). So crankcase gasket isn't sealing as it should.
I hope it can be done (I won't replace it on my own of course)

Valve cover gaskets are ok and may actually be dripping onto the crank case
.

but that isnt a clutch cover gasket thats the crankcase gasket for if you have had the whole side case off to get to the oil pump etc
