What are opinions on this headlight conversion

Not my cup o tea.... but.....seeing the prices first hand of new headlights/fairing I can see why some people would opt for something cheaper.

.

I saw that the other day, but TBH I didn't like to post about it just in case the owner was a forum member :)

YUCK:kicknuts
imho the standard T one looks a little dated now so once ive the warrenty out the way i might change mines for something a little like the streetfighters or cb1000s

The thought had crossed my mind also.

But thought it was worth finding out others opinions i have to agree with the majority why would you do it? Trying to look like a street tripple or something totally spoils the look of the bike.

i don't know whats wrong with you guys, i love it:thumbup

only joking its dreadful:crazy

I assume it's an insurance wreck, rebuilt?

I would only consider it if he had all the original pieces.

Definitely not my taste.

Not in favour really. Twin bates look great on a 'fightered gixxer, but not on a Tuono.

'orrible...and I see he's getting a factory so hopefully he won't do it again. :crazy:yeahright

I REALLY like the Bates twin headlight..

on a Street Triple.

Not so much on my T. The styling cue doesn't go with the sharp lines of the rest of the T. The rounded headlights at the front just don't flow with the bike. Then again, it kinda gives you that Endurance racer thingie. The Tuono Bol d'Or Edition? ;)
