Bowed to the wisdom of those that know and swapped for the 15/42 gearing. Wow, less jerky at small throttle openings, easier pulling away but the pick up is fantastic. Blatting along between the bends where previously I was hitting 60 before throwing out the anchors, I'm now hitting 80. Obviously all conducted in the privacy of my driveway.
Had to go and ride through one of those speed indicator things, the ones that flash red when you go over 30 just to check I didn't have a speedo error.
