well last thur i made my way to weston super mud, to have a look what go on, well not my cup o tea, i was the only rsv there! i walked up the sea front 3 times to check, just full of old men (104+) with massive beards,( alot like the kit car c++ts) talking about the good old days, and a police bike checking all the tax and plates,(cant catch real crims, got to wait till people park up)and giving out blue pieces of paper like they were free raffle tickets, and they charge you a £1 for parking, and you cant even park where you like , some knob in a yellow jacket pushs you into a space thats uneven, and not one person wants to chat,what a waste of time
 
Weston Super Mud, nice one. Is your moniker homage to that Ducati bloke or a hankering for carrots?

i did put a post up :confused<i think> and would have been nice to show the hog riders what a proper vtwin sounds like:jack, and also would have been nice to meet a few faces, but would have rather gone for a ride with a few of you guys, i was going to say it was **** really but everyone different, i just thought it was a cheap shot by the police, food was far tooo dear and the people just stared at you when you tried to enter into conversion, but there was a nice quad thing with 18inch rims and slick tyres. but is there many people from the south west on here?
 
yea the beach race is good but its still 10 quid for kids and 15 for adults , its a public place ffs, how are some of you from the south set for the 22nd of june, was thinking of my be a small get together, any ideas on a good set of roads and a place to meet, if weathers ok, i do a bit of research to find somewhere nice, if some people want to come

A meet up sometime would be cool, Mr Sabbath is only a couple of miles up the road from me as well.
 
Heh , small world eh. Woolavington here - not brave or daft enough to live in bridgy itself mind :dowhat. Suppose I could turn up somewhere on my mountain bike in leiu of a proper bike pmsl till I get myself sorted.
 
I ride the bike to work that way sometimes, out through East Huntspill etc, theres a nice stretch before Woolavington to open it up a bit. I am sure you know the road I am on about:eatcorn
 
Indeed I do mate - not had the pleasure of giving it a handful down through there on a bike but done so many a time in the car, well as far as is possible in a 2lt Vectra anyway. For some odd reason:thumbup hat flashing 30mph speed warning that's on your side of Huntspill/Basin Bridge as you enter the village lights up like a crimbo tree every time :biggrin

Must say there's some nice roads around these parts - the one from Street down to Yeovil is apretty good un as well. Makes a nice change from hooning across Dartmoor playing dodge the sheep :rant
