titanium caliper mount bolts.

My bolts are truely *****. So thought i'd upgrade them when re-fitting the wheels today.

Yummy.

i bought some of them but wasn't to impressed with the head strength, the allen heads started to round off after a few removals using the correct torque ,i think i will buy hexagonal bolt heads next not socket .alot lighter though .wonder how much weight a total titanium bolt set would save ? imagine the cost though ! much cheaper to cut out the cakes and beer :cheers

OOh Shiney.

If you get the urge for shiney bolts this is a decent web site.

Stig's Stainless Fasteners

they actually sell some of the Ape fairing bolts.

Pssst Weeksy - just dont go bonkers and fit titanium disc bolts to the rear or yer speedo won't work. :lol

I've always found the Ti bolts to be WAY better quality for rounding etc than Stainless bolts.

I bought them for quality and tensile strength rather than for weight saving. I think for weight saving it's ridiculous.

true. :lol

I used to work with a guy, huge bloke 6'-4" and about 20St+ (280lbs)
He was into drag bikes, he used to buy titanium this, carbon that, NOS kits etc.

I reckon a dose of exlax the night before would have had more effect. :dunno

Couldn't resist this for MTB stuff.

The MX jerseys are perfect for fitting over body armour.

Reminds me of an old Ogri cartoon, where Malcolm had been drilling holes in just about everything on his bike to save weight before a race (including the petrol tank)

Ogri: "Saves about as much weight as takin' a piss"

Got that jersey from AF-1, weeks. And Paul... that just sounds like a normal sized guy to me...

Now where did I see that extra strength shock for Andiamo...

with titanium theres something very wrong there Ida
