I reckon thier was a sniper in the wheelie bin.

All i had was some trailing brake .. one finger but with the surface being so slick it was enough to lock the front .. we could hardly stand on the stuff . and with going so slow had no chance to catch it .

Looks like i have broke my wrist as well so one is not a happy bunny .
Im normally a FWB but rode for 10 years in the worst scotland had to provide but i tend to use the car now . was only out to try help the lad :p

Thanks for kind words guys and be safe

*****. **** the kind words. Binned it at 120kph exiting turn one at the local track. Rashed up the left side. Leathers saved my ***.
And it ain't really a busted arm until they have to do an ORIF. (My right wrist has a plate and seven screws holding it together after a 3/4 ton truck turned left in front of me).

Nahhhh. Truthfully, mate, I'm gutted for you. Watched the vid and not sure why the front washed out like that. I've dropped the shovel under the same kind of circumstances. Couple of miles an hour, touch of brake on a slick surface and *doof*. Gawd I was PISSED!!!
Ibuprofen and Tylenol are your friends now. Tylenol for bone pain and Ibu for the anti-inflammatory capacity. When it comes time for physical therapy, don't be stingy. Take as many sessions as you can get.

Oh, and with a new shifter, I was back to the track the next weekend. Don't give up lad!!!

Aye Snags, just as well you wern'y gannin any faster, hope the T's not costing too much. Get ready for March/April.

May get slammed for this but IMO no wonder you binned it!!

From the vid it looks like a flagged surface not tarmac, second there is a clear run of something (leaves) in the middle of that small gap.

If I'd have been in that situation it would have been both feet down and walk it on the clutch until back out onto the more open part.

Sorry dude

Think it was Steven Chuckleberg or maybe Quentin Chuckletino

lol Judge :p

I didnt put the vid of for sympathy heheh Im fine and the T is fine also . There was a concentration of mulch/leaves on the right but it was pretty much all over the road .

If i had stayed on my left where there was less leaves you cant get the angle to enter the driveway due to the garage . 5 mins before the crash i told my lad to be carefull as it could be very slick but i underestimated how slippery it was .

It is proper tarmac but being a dead end it tends not to be cleared by the local council so the leaves tend to build up .

It was a mistake on my part for underestimating how bad it was but i had been in and out that driveway 100 times in summer and winter .

It was more a warning and summit to give the boys a giggle at my expence that you can never be to carefull and also a good lesson for my lad .

My wrist is healing nicley and the tuono just needs new bungs (about £200) to replace the damaged ones . They did what there designed to do and only damage on the bike is a very small scuff on the back edge of my akros and a slight bend in my gear lever which i will stick in the vice and rebend .

Nice video, send it in to that bald heeded **** on tv and get £250. Every little helps towards the bills.

All Power to The Dads.:thumbup You don't rebend anything you straighten. Or reinstate. I know, Am a Fud.
