Weird readings on dash??

Hi all,

A few days ago, the right side of my '03 RSVR's dash, which used to indicate temperature and time, now alternates between showing "DIAG 0" and "DIAG 1".

The manual doesn't give a solution to the problem so Im wondering if anyone knows what my bike is trying to say?? I've only had the bike a couple of weeks! :roll

Have you been poking about in the wiring underneath the seat, off/side of the bike?

There's a connector there which is only supposed to be connected up to show fault codes - sounds like it's been plugged in wrongly - do a search on here for diag code/wire?

I took out the seat to get to my tool kit recently, that's about it and I don't remember touching anyting else, unless I inadvertently meddled with the connector by accident. Could that happen?
