Hi guys heres one for the technically minded just back from a short blast on the bike (2005 RSVR) with what can only be described as a large skid mark in my pants

after the bike tried to throw me off mid corner it was as if it switched itself off cutting power,fuel or something and at the same time i noticed the neutral light flickered at the same moment,ive had a bit of a problem fitting my quickshifter, if it has cut power before it was because i touched the lever with my foot and the quickshifter wasn't set up properly and the neutral light never came on the quickshifter seams to work fine now. To add to the mystery i've also been having trouble with my dash ie indicators don't work could this other problem be caused by faulty dash ??? any help on this would be much appreciated ,Bryan:thumbup:biggrin

Have you pressed any of those 3 buttons on the p/c, mistakenly or not, if so you
are a big numpty(just like me lol) that's exactly what happened to mine(same year)

Alright m8 long time no speak ,hows your bike going noo?I could of pressed one of the buttons, i had the bloody thing out the other day and just shoved it back in ,,,How does this do that to the bike tho am feckin lost wi it m8 to be honest

It basically wipes the map out that is in the p/c, if u have your original map
reboot the p/c & u should be sorted, as for mine the cooont, had it seviced
& the mechanic said he'd never seen plugs like it, pure white & speckled(i thought sounded pretty lol)
anyways got to go back to mr dyno & be reshod, ran it at snett on map 2 but christ u can't alf feel the
diff, no where near as sharp, & got a puncture on last sess, sideways at 80 mph makes ur pants brown,
no damage done, hope this helps m8

hi bryan thats done that to me twice before nearly licked the front tyre lol im shure its cause it was still cold .as soon as i pulled in my clutch at the end of my road the engine stalled and there you go ,thank F@@k i nerver dropped it lol it was funny lol dont think anyone seen me
