Been out on the bike today, is it just me or do other bikers not bother giving a wave or nod to say hello as they pass? So i've come to the conclusion that they are all jealous they hav'nt got an Aprilia :nana

Been a bit of a mixed bag for me over the weekend - some have nodded, some havn't. Usual thing then.

One headcase on an R1 binned the nod and just launched into a hoofing great wheelie as he went past :biggrin

I'd do a wheelie past, if i could. Can get wheel up about an inch, then crap it.

Yep, have that in Kent too.

Like you, I reckon it's cause they are all jealous of our lovely RSV's.

Fook em, I'm only out for fun anyhow!!!!

Here in France every biker waves

Saw a triumph rocket 3 today at the cafe.......;enormous bloody thing.

Thats right 80 percent of car drivers pull over to let you pass here and you put your foot out to say thanks............or give them the middle finger if they dont lol

went from sittingbourne to hastings, rye & then back home this morning & most of the bikes i met on route nodded back. even when i was helping at the scene of a car accident on the A2070:eek: must be my friendly smile:biggrin

I even got nodded at by a Hog rider !!, or was that laugherd at (I wear blue camo textiles) , but most riders nod :)

It's a dying form of communication.....always try to nod at other bikes regardless.

Went past a line of 20 bikes on Sunday. Nodded to the first few then realised I was looking like parcel shelf toy so stopped. :eatcorn:dowhat

It`s a bit diff. over here.
In Belgium there arn`t many RSV riders, in the Netherlands (were I work) mutch more, even Aprilias are more over there.
But bikers are more frendly between bikers, doesn`t matter what kind of bike you ride.
What i more and more see is that the last years more and more people start to ride bikes (you can easy see who is the wannebe biker) and who want`s to be cool and who are the regular riders. I only wave to the last ones. All would be to mutch. :)

It`s funny to see people looking the bike, because it`s not the Duc who anyone knows. But most, like myself find the RSV more beautiful. :D

Here I've seen over the years less and less people waving back. And then the Gold Wing rider altought they usually wave, you can't see them cause their fairing is too big. Then the Harley guys only wave to other Harley but now since many Jap custom's look just as much as their Harley sometimes they're all mix up. Usualy the sportbiker's wave to other sportbiker's. And now you have the big scooter's and ... well, well.Better to wave to everybody, but I usually dont even look if they have wave back, cause it make's me mad.

I always try and nod but how can you tell if a guy with his head down on a race rep on the opposite side of a dual carriageway with a closing speed of at least 140mph has nodded or not. Or is it just my eyesight?
