Hi All.
Really p'd off today, came to fill up and undid the filler cap only to have a load of water trapped under it run straight in to the tank.
Bike was washed down 2 days ago so the water has been there since.
Guess I have a drain blocked somewhere, anyone else had this problem and point me in the right direction.

Jeff

Lift the tank, you'll find two drain hoses, one for the fuel overflow, the other for the water drain you're looking for.
Pull the hose off and simply unblock it by running a piece of wire up the outlet..

Just to add to the last post, they are two ali nipples which screw into the bottom of the tank you may find the one you need to clear is completely corroded up and difficult to unblock, just unscrew it & run a drill bit throgh it, I opened mine up with a bigger drill bit as the hole is far to small & clogs easily :thumbup

Don't worry about the bit of water in the tank, you'll feel a few missfires as it gets injected into the engine

Thanks for the replies. suspected it was a similar drain system to my triumph sprint. The ali nipples used to fur up on that too.
