long story, but bare with me ..

i needed to change my car for something smaller (to get the boy on the insurance).

looked around, decided on a 1.4 civic.
did all the shopping about, then went to Warrington Honda, they had one in, just been p/exed, so not prepared for sale a few marks on it.
we agreed a price, chuckin my car in as long as the marks were repaired... agree on a day the following week to exchange..

the day arrives .. i sort out the finance (cash in pocket) arranged transfer of insurance, and as the lad is on it £1800 !!!

the car is there, outside the showroom door all gleaming and shiney and all prepared ....... NOT ! it had just been valeted, no repairs done..

Soooo, I kick offf slightly in showroom, now pointing out every teeny weeny mark... after much discussion, i agree to give them more time to sort it...

i turn up the following week, everythings been done, apart from one repair on the door, was in my opinion very poor. sales assure me this will get sorted, i exchange cars AND MY CASH with the promise they will arrange to have the door sorted at a later date (shut up now, i know what yer thinkin)....

Anyway.. 2 weeks pass and no contact from Warrington Honda, i call them today, the conversation was basically, i,m sorry your not happy with the repair, but speaking with our manager, he says its the best job they can do, but they are prepared to have another go at it... i explain, well if its the best you can do theres not really much point you doing it again is there !!! They ageed .... wtf ?

i said ok, not gonna fall out over a little repair, i,m just never going to use you again, i,ll do my upmost that anyone i know never uses you and wished them well.

i,ve forwarded a report to Honda UK tonight, took me a little while, but satisfied, i had my rant, settled down and had a few beers , well about 7....

ring ring ring !!! i get a call from Honda... Some general manager fella, oh dear... i,m pissed he gets both barrels and proberbly a new arse hole... not really sure what i said, but he,s getting back to me tomorrow..


i think. anyroad, have i mentioned Warrington Honda yet ?

My only experiences with a Honda garage are when there was a rubber CV boot split on an old Aero-deck that I ended up keeping for 9 years.
I tried replacing it myself, but failed because I could not get the CV joint out.
Honda said they would change the rubber cover & gave me a fixed price.
When I picked the car up, they explained that they also cold not get that joint parted & had to strip the complete suspension off & change the rubber cover from the oposite end of the drive shaft.

No additional cost & no extra time. But that was years ago.

Had a totally different story with an impreza, piston problems, gearbox probles, dealer problems, they are *****.
