ok guys well I went out today thinking all right finally have some time to declutter the bike since it still had all these white and orange warning decals on the tank and the evap canister decal on the frame. well I took off the decals thinking that they were put on after all painting was done. boy was I wrong

anyways now that the decals are off I have 2 nice sized matte black areas on the top of my tank. Any clue on how I could go about to fix these and make them look somewhat like the rest of the tank, which looks like it got some kind of clear put on it?
Please help.
I was thinking of trying to mask off the areas and get some satin clear, but just dont know if it will match. Oh I guess I could get some cool looking new non-warning decals and apply them.
