Wanted - Gen1 Radiator Side Panels - in Anodised Gold

Folks,

Wanted...

Anyone have for sale, or know where I can get a set of Radiator side protector plates, in anodised gold (with or without 'Tuono' engraved).
- I noted 'The Wicked Wolf' sells them on ebay... but only in stainless steel...

You could always powder coat them...

Yev... Indeed (belated).

I ended up buying the S/S units from the wicked wolf eBay seller. They look nice in standard silver, so no plans to powder coat at the present time.

One of the originals had some minor gravel rash (from a virtually static drop by previous owner), else I could have sprayed them, or pickled (phosphoric acid) and polished + lacquered then instead.

Yer tiz...

NB: The stainless will remain shiny (hence maintenance free), without oxidizing like Aluminum will (unless polished & lacquered), but blends in well without being 'blingy' in my view... I would have stuck with polishing the originals though if it hadn't been for the gravel rash on one.

PS: I have a spare aluminum right hand radiator plate if anyone needs one (Â£10 + postage). Left hand also available but needs filing/polishing/painting to remove gravel rash.

I paid Â£29.99 + Â£4.75 postage via 'Buy It Now' on eBay. A previous BIN posting (which I missed) was on at Â£27.99 + postage. If you search from UK eBay on "tuono radiator end cap covers" Wicked Wolf is currently listing a pair at Â£25.99 + Â£5 postage, with no bidders todate.

Via the above search there is also a carbon pair on at Â£49.99... if anyone wants to lighten their bike by a few more grams!
