Vibrating on hard acceleration

Hi all,

Just took my 02 RSVR to Cadwell yesterday and apart from exhaust bolt coming out and a small water leak all was good.
Problem on accelerating hard down the straight though, getting a lot of vibration which I'm pretty convinced is from the engine somehow (ironically I get it on my 51 plate aswell but not quite as bad), and I'm at a bit of a loss as to what's causing it.
Got a feeling it could be down to TB sync, but don't know much about this - despite having spent yesterday evening reading through lots of posts on other (mostly american) forums, sadly they seem to assume everyone's already a TB know it all!!

So 3 quick questions:

1. What causes throttle bodies to go out of sync?
2. How do I know if mine are out of sync?
3. Is there a very simple step by step guide anywhere (with pics would be great) that can take me through it?

Thanks.

Big vibrating twin shaking everything loose...rsv's are well know to go out of sync...some worse than others

Do you have any other running issues... Lumpy idle ,snatch throttle, etc

You need the right equipment ..this is the problem people set them up with gas analysers but you need the correct setup this has coils of pipe to cool the charge so it doesn't melt the diaphragms to connect to it with a separate feed to each header pipe with a lock out on each so each cylinder can be set individually.

I'd take it to someone who knows what they are doing...Griff at aprilia performance is having a service day in Lincolnshire soon go over on aprilia.me or ring the shop and book your bike in....

No other issues - starts, runs, stops all fine. You make it sound very complicated, maybe I'll get Griff on the case. I do have a bit of a problem throwing money at things I can do myself though, so I'll go through the usual investigative procedures. On my 51 I kinda sorted the vibration by whipping out and cleaning the plugs - turns out one of them the screw-on connnector cap had worked loose, but I doubt I'll find the same problem on this bike.
But always worth a look I think.

It's not complicated at all if you have the right kit...lots of people try with a normal gas analyser but due to the way they are made it breaks the diaphragms...lots of people have tried to set there own and failed....

yep always go over the obvious things as well.
