I bought a gen 2 and it was staying in the shed so I sold it. I was wondering if I did the right thing ................................ probably not.
the alloy guard at the bottom rad is my bit of bling.
 
Gen 1 Factorys I believe will be a future classic....this one will be a keeper for me after discovering the joys of tuono ownership i decided i had to have a factory as i was about to start going modding mad and thought it would just be cheaper to buy a factory and, have just stripped the old girl of the goodies i bought to put on the new bike....renegade airbox, pc3, gen2 mirrors and blade sidestand, although i now have an ohlins steering damper and rear shock surplus to reqirements if anybody is interested in them...i'll put em in the for sale section later
 
bang on mate nice very nice i did consider that one myself as for the one on ebay it would not cost much to mint it back up and showing only 7k miles,,,, still i love mine would not swap it for the world
 
lol daz...i missed yours by about 30 minutes, i was chatting to the guy via ebay aand he said he wanted 4750 for it when i emailed him an hour later to tell him i'd pay what he wanted he said he'd just took a deposit, yours is a beaut mate, the twin akras, bellypan and race kit make it an awesome buy for the money....i'd get the original discs back on tho if you haven't already mate, those dodgy chinese wavys that were on it are not what you want for stoppin in a hurry
 
yes i agree lol i was also thinking about the brakes now iam getting quicker on it, they do seem a little week would you say its cos there wavey or the fact they are cheap copys if they are not never looked to be honest
 
mate they're cheap and nasty there's very little surface area for the pads to bite onto, they'll shred your pads as well....there's nowt wrong with well made wavys...galfer,grimeca etc but those are very shoddy chinese discs....get the originals back on that came with your box of parts you got with the bike they will transform the braking guaranteed, the brembo radial calipers on the bike are awesome stopers but those discs are the weak link.
 
um looks like some armstrong or galfers are on the cards i just like the look of the wavys to much lol thanks again for the advice i think i will fit the standerd ones for now it wll be good to compair
 
no prob mate....i'd defo get the originals back on till you get some new wavys, brakes are the one place you should never compromise on quality, i know what you mean about the wavys looking nicer they are much easier on the eye....I'd plump for the galfers if you want the best quality, armstrongs are ok, best on a budget though would be Black Shadows http://blackshadow-uk.com/default.aspx a well proven product now
 
just been scaring myself to death of the price of galfers wow deep breath lol ,,, these blackshadow ones look nice full floating as well + i can get with gold middles looks like i will be ordering some of them thanks for the link
 
a wis a baw hair aff that bike, if this **** had bochyt ma fechter, plus it wis 15-20 mins fae ma billet, thats twa in scumdee thats been up fir grabs in aboot 4 month,,,

believe me my friend, my T can give him more than he can handle when it comes down the really tight uns.. and he (i hope) is the 1st to admit it. fudfest11 , most of the trip he was a blip in the distance, but 140mph in straight lines aint my bag, but come the real roads the T held its own.. and more !

i,ve told yer before though mucker, if i was in the market fer a duc fighter, yours would be top of my list, i realy cant believe you aint sold it, must be the bargain of the century but then again i also cant believe yer gonna let it go !!!
