Hi all!

Have 2 pairs of these to my RSV, and have shorten one pair some mm becuse of a airbox mod.

Now I am thinking what this could do to the effect? Or engine-register.

Whats happens if I short them more, about 2-3cm?

Know that short stacks sells to different engines as "extra" parts, but whats better with them then the original stacks?

Edit: My bike have a open air filter kit.

I have the short ones. Cant say I noticed any diference, but its nice that I know its there :D

In theory the shorter ones will give you high rpm power and longer one more low end power, thats why tuono has them quite long.

And originals are 51mm wide so if you have more than 51mm throttle bodies (54 or 57) you kinda need then not to block the enterance.

Short stacks give more power at high revs, talls stacks more power at low revs.
So most manufacturers create middle ground stacks, that is neither very short nor very tall.

This has of course now been replaced by variable length stacks or trumpets
