post 04 bikes are setup using a gas analyser via the exhaust header take off points. If the Co is right then the vac will be right as well due to both Tb's being vac linked for the auto idle control.
Pre 04 bikes had unlinked Tb's due to manual idle control so could be easily done with a vac guage.
Incidently the vac on post 04 bikes is staggered. If you match them it will not run right because 1 cylinder will be lean.
