V4aprc tuono air filter

Hi guys has anyone fitted a k&n air filter ?

I just spent a while wondering what to do with the filter as once its been squeezed into the box the top cover won't fit and the box won't close ???.

Help !

Don't know if it helps you but I removed all the standard filters holder and my k&n screwed straight in

Ill have to look again as my new k&n doesn't look like urs ?

Mine is al1004 as that's what a thread suggested

Sorry not to be more help didn't check the part no before fitting it came with an exhaust off an rsv4 and I thought I'd have a look at the difference only to find out it would fit unlike the advice on the forum states.
