by now, i'm sure everyone has seen the press release on the RSV V4. It would seem logical that the V4 lump would end up in a Tuono if its making its way into the Mille. At least to me it does.

What do you lot think?

I think I've only just bought the V2 two months ago, let me enjoy that for a year or two before you make it obsolete...

Thanks for that man, mind you... I still prefer the sound of a Rotax 60 twin over a V4.
I'm doing my best to convince myself... believe... belive... believe :hmmm

don't get me wrong, a v-twin is just about the sexiest sound that can be made on earth. i think the best compliment I ever got on my TLR was "man, I always know when you're about to pass me because its like hearing a biplane buzz by" :-D

I'd prefer the twin myself. It makes more hp than I know how to use and I love the feel and power delivery. I wouldn't complain though if they managed to come out with a 1200cc 90 deg twin without adding any weight...

I've got my name for one at the dealers should they ever make an appearance. As Aprilia make the V twin in house now, I'm thinking they will probably keep the V twin Tuono going for a while yet. I reckon 2010 (maybe 2011) will be the launch of the V4 Tuono. I'm planning on keeping the twin till then, however KTM will almost certainly launch the Venom next year (KTM's version of a Tuono) and if it's anything like the pics (and a reasonable price) I may be tempted. I rode the Super Duke prior to buying the T and it was a superb bike
