hey i dont own a mille yet someday when i get my full licence, prob even before!!! just wondering if you boys think the new v4 engine will fit into the mille? i know its hard because there hasnt been much info released on it but what do you think?

probably not...

aprilia did an amazing job cramming the huge v twin into the chassis it seems unlikely you will find enough room to squeeze the v4 in there, still if someone wanted to butcher the chassis or even have a custom built one... seems a little over the top tho and wouldnt be cheap

Because he's an 'L' plate wanabe Rossi. Read about something and wants one. youth of today, never satisfied with what they have.
you might need the Frame, swingarm fairings wiring loom suspension and lights just to make sure it will fit. Then you will have to ring Aprillia racing and find out what race mods they are doing, just so you can sqeeze evry last BHP out of it, to satsify your hunger for power.:thumbup

It's not like you'll be able to order the motor apart from the new WSB bike. That's be great but it ain't gonna happen. You can do a big bore kit and supercharger on your mille if you need more power. BUT...before you do that...I reccomend shifting at 10K RPM first so you really see how much power the mille really has ;)

one thing i noticed.. shifting at 10k rpm is vastly different from riding with the throttle fully open and shifting each time it reaches 10k rpm

the fact that you cant actually do that without serious dangers (and law breaking) on the road just shows the mille has more than enough power

if you want to kill yourself at stupidly high speeds, go buy a hayabusa and see if you can reach its top speed on the road....

RS125 eh?? Well...maybe he should hit the track and see what it can really do then.

Be gentle boys, we were all young once. The other thread encouraging good riding FIRST was a bit more positive.

damn relax boys i just put it out there thats all... not dreaming bout it either i realise that you cant squeeze much more power out of n/a engines without big $$$$$$$ or slaping forced induction on it.

you have young idiots that wrap themself around poles showing off always dreaming dont put me in their class when you dont know me. i might still be young but im not silly

just interested in the new way aprilia is going.

also the v4 is supposed to be alot more compact
