V4 1100 seat on V4 1000

Has anybody had the opportunity to try the newer V4 seat on a later model V4 1000.. I could only do a quick swap of the rear pad and it's a perfect fit. I didn't have time to unscrew the rider seats. The finishes aren't the same, but the patterns line up. They are a no return item over here so I don't want to f*ck up.... beagle.

The new seat is 15mm lower, more compliant and has a different texture, but the same pattern. My skinny little arse likes it and it wants one. The OE seat on my 14 is fine for short(up to an hour) stints. After that my arse retaliates and won't **** for a week...LOL...

I thought the tank was reshaped? Will the seat be also?

Dealer told me the new 1100 seat fits the 1000 , im gonna price one up as its much more comfy than mine .... mines the abs model so not sure about the older ones !

In Aus they are $239 for rider and $211 for pillion.. No idea of lead time though, probably months.

Ordered the new 1100 seat today ... £60 but I think the dreaded vat has to go on that but still not a bad price ....
