V2 or V4?

Having had my '08 V2 since new and recently replaced the second stator I'm considering selling the twin. I have ridden the V4. Hell of a bike, much different than the twin. Not necessarily better, just different. It's faster, quicker handling, less comfortable and gets relatively meager gas mileage. I have looked at threads comparing the two. Seems to be no consensus as to which bike is better. But general agreement on the differences. My questions to forum members is are there any know issues with the V4, other than it does run hotter than the twin? If I decide on the V4 it would drive me crazy to,come up,with the electrical problems I've had with the V2.

Just get the V4 and be done with it. :thumbup
No issues that I'm aware with it and its something different.
Now stop pissing around and buy one. :lol

Ive had 2 Gen II's and they are brilliant bikes but for me the V4 is just nuts and i have a far bigger grin on my face when i get back from a ride . the V4 makes my old Gen II feel like a tank !!!

depends on you really
everybody raved about the KTM SuperDuke R, said it was awesome so I took one out for the day and didn't like it.
does that make me wrong and everyone else right? or is it just I didn't find it right for me?
if you prefer the V2 over the V4 it doesn't mean it's any better it just means you like it more.

Superduke R is not much of a road bike, I went out on one thought it was harsh and much preferred the standard superduke.

To answer the original question, um yeah its loads better! Odd electrical gremlin have been seen on the internet but its been about long enough to diagnose yourself and find the solution if it ever arises.
