Hi folks,

Just grabbed me a 2000 model Mille, after zx7-r & 95 Blade. Only ridden her twice (delivered on Wednesday), but even with stock exhaust, I'm addicted to the noise!

Any advice on replacement can? Like the look of the Mivv GP stubby...seems ok fer £250 or so. Anyone got one, and if so...what's the sound like compared to others/stock?

Also, got a tyre question. Got nearly new 180 Dunlop Qualies on, but I hate Dunlop's for some reason. I recently put BT016's on the Blade, and they fely much better than the D208's previously. What are opinions on tyres (I will be searching forums...), and the 180/190 situation?

Glad to part of the twin-fold at last (was thinking of a Duke :jack)

Sepp

Welcome mate, i've only had metzlers and 016's. I'm sticking with 016's they feel nice.

Welcome to the forum and the wonderful world of V twins. :thumbup

I hate Dunlops too, am running BT016's after wearing out some Pirelli Super Corsa Pro's in 800 miles.

Hi there, new here myself,
Almost exactly the same for me, Had a ZX7, then a 99 Blade now an 04 RSV. Love it. V-twin is defo the way ahead.
Enjoy.

Evening matey, and welcome to the forum ! :thumbup

Had 3 x 7R`s myself in the past (green, black, red - in that order), and an EPIC bike.

The RSVR, however, seems to feel quite similar in handling terms (although a lot lighter LOL) in that it inspires a lot of confidence, so enjoy getting used to the Twin.........you`ll love it !

As for Mivv cans; have a listen on Youtube.........basically, they sound ferkin` amazing, nice deep tone.

Good luck with your choice anyway. :thumbup

Welcome mate,
Running BT014's and happy round the twisties but get eaten up on the motorways.
as for pipe I've got a leo vince (came with the bike) and taken the baffles out and it sounds awesome, good even with them in but I prefer out

Heeeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy there!
Not unhappy with my Dunlops but you won't go wrong with Pilot Powers for road or Supercorsas for track. 180 all the way. Any can that lets you hear it!:thumbup
