Had the bike sat in the garage on optimate for the last month due to surgery,

Went to give it a once over today and as i pumped the clutch i can hear a breathing sound, like air being sucked in and out, so had a look and notice a dripping slave cylinder, great.

My trackday is on monday, is there a chance it will last the day if i try to bleed it through again? I've got a oil catch bellypan on the race fairing if it does get worst, any ideas?

Or anyone local that has a spare i can buy off them? im in east london,

Slave cylinder can be off anything, any year RSV, Falco, etc. all the same iirc.

I Think it depends on the age what will fit you should be able to pick up seals m8 it defo sounds if the seals away Mad Biff on here done his and he says its a dodle its just a case of fiding somewhere that has the seals in stock take the slave off the bike and take it with you there is the seal round the slave then another seal around the piston you need to figure out which one or it might be better to replace all the seals just to be on the safe side,or if your feeling flush buy an aftermarket slave MPL and OBERON do a direct replacement so find a shop that sells them nearby ,a seal kit is around £20 where the slave's come in at around the £90 or higher mark hope this helps m8 and good luck looks like a busy weekend ahead....

I did a few hundred miles on my Tuoldo with a leaking clutch slave cylinder with no probs, Just had to top it up a couple of times. I didn't hear a breathing sound tho. The only clue for me was the level going down in the reservoir, a couple of drips on the floor under the bike and the side stand freeing up a bit with the extra lube it was getting !

Changed for Oberon in the end :thumbup

Maybe bleed yours up a bit then go for a run for 50 miles or so and see how it goes ?

Yeh i think i'll give that a go mate, cheers for that, just need a temp fix until i can get back and order a MPL or similar once ive got more time.

V if you have no luck with filling and bleeding you're welcome to use mine for the trackday.

Deacs :thumbup

I have the same problem. Mine lasts about 2 tankfulls of petrol before reaching minimum. I cleaned mine up and bled it. Went out for the day and noticed master cyl was still dry but pipe to reservoir was wet. Pipe is not split but has gone hard and is not sealing properly. Glad I checked before shelling out for a new mc
