Upper fairing removal

Hi all, are there instructions on removing the fairing in the owners manual?
I don't remember and if not, I want to find something on the 'net while i'm at work.
I know how to get the sides off, but I also need to get to the rads and I might take my top fairing off and take it to be painted.

Its easy, undo the 2 bolts on each mirror and remove. then undo the 2 bolts under the fairing (in line with the headlight), then undo the 2 bolts on the inside edge about 1/2 way down and remove, remembering to disconnect your headlight plug as you lift it away.

2 minute job and remember to put it somewhere safe.....

Cheers mate.

Anyone got a pic they can arrow on to illustrate? or a diagram from somewhere. Wanna be sure in my head, might have a go in the semi-dark after work.

No, the hammer is still in the holster until tomorrow! LOL

Undecided as to whether I just do the rads, or take it all of for painting now. If the sun is out, I'll probably go for a ride, but I'm not sure yet.

Managed to somehow get around to doing this and making some rad & oil cooler covers up, plus change the buggered LHS rad, all with a stinking ******* of a chest-cold over the weekend.
Realised I can't afford to pay for the paintwork on the bike yet, as my car MOT is almost out! So I've stuck her on ebay as is to see if I get any offers. If not, I guess I will get it painted in a while and try again!
