unusual wear on my front tire?

Gday,
Going over the beast (02 RSV) after my last trip I noticed the front tire ( mitchy pilot power) has a flat spot/wear right around the right hand side ...like a bevel,2 inches wide.
Pressure is 32 psi and I dont do right hand corners that well although we were pushing it at some stages on the coast road as I still needed to be first.
The rear ( pilot road ct2) is good as gold, could it be a suspension issue, any idea's?
cheers:dunno

No, no roundabouts hit, I cannot recall seeing any as it was all open road.
What pressure do you recommend as I thought 32psi was normal for this tire?
cheers

Most of us run 36 on the front and 42 on the back I no a few people do tweek it but I don't think they drop as much as that what you should be looking at is the recomended pressure for the bike not the tyre

if you say you don't do right handers does that mean you arn't as confident on them and possibly go into them or around them off throttle. pushing more weight and more wear onto the right hand side?

33 front, 36 rear favorit on the 04+ on road, 31 front, 30 rear on track:thumbup

Thanks for all the info,I usually back off the throttle into righthanders, and I guess I need to up the pressures in both tires,( I was running 32f & 40 r,)...bad day when you don't learn something new.
cheers John

If sitting on the bike and your wear is centreline of tyre towards right hand side but then plenty of meat after this initial portion of wear -----> down to the camber of UK roads.

I run 36psi on the front with 40/42 on the rear.

just to throw one in, i had a funny wear pattern on mine and it was the fork seal weeping i tiny amout over a long time worth checking??

yeah 33F 36R for me,(fast road) any higher like 36/42 suits Jap inline fours but not for me on the mille.
Ck

yeah, well TR5+,I am in New Zealand but as we drive on the same side of the road you may have a point,...although I think I was put crook on the tire pressures when I brouht the bike.
I will go out for a thrash this morning and see how it goes with increased pressures.
cheers

This thread as been very helpful,as on a couple of occassions I`ve had a fair bit of front end patter (created by the road surface)and was looking to soften the front forks.
Having read the comments regarding tyre pressures I need to consider them first,
so thanks Guys
