Unthinkable might happen

Hi all,

After taking a ride on Kevin's 2004 RSV R, I'm totaly in awe with the handling compared to my 2002 RSV.

So I'm going too have a look at a 2004 RSV Factory this weekend, going for a good price, so depends on the overall condition, and if I can get it right to get over the "not so nice compared to older models" styling, I might just buy it!

The most difficult part of this whole thing will be giving up my Mille, my poor heart!!!!!:down

Well, you know that old saying that looks aint everything, if it makes you happier riding it then it's the bike for you :thumbup

Or theres the other old saying; You dont look at the mantlepiece while poking the fire:devious

Check with your insurance first. 02 RSV are in group 14 or 15 and new shape are in group 17 so expect an increase.

Just another thought, does your own bike need the suspension looking at :dunno would be a shame to just dismiss it as a poorer handling bike compared to the posh models if all it needs is a tweak :dunno

get yourself an RSVR FACTORY forget you old style millie, handling is better more power ect ect...... :eatcorn

nah ...
sort out your suspension your bike first ....it wouldnt cost anything , if you still dont think its as good then your concious is clear dude!!!

im with the gasboy......03 R is the future!!! he's got the flashy one though...

Ok........... My minds made up, Im keeping my 02 mille, the newer shape bikes really are not all that pretty looking to me ( I like Big round things ), and my bike is perfect for me! I'd rather save the money and finish my classic BMW bike and then move on to buying a Buell to keep with my current bikes:devious::dougdevious
