Hi all,
Thanks for accepting me here.
Quite fond of motorcycles riding actively the whole year since some 15 years already. Be work, small spin, bigger ride or training session.
Like the dynamics of riding improve every time or re-learn what's forgotten about rides. I don't work much on my bikes I do install what I can and do a decent job for the rest I rely on the garages.
My style is road and prefer forward biased bikes so as to feel the front, like to keep speeds on turns be sustaining a rythm with fewer braking at legal speeds or on long turns.
Do like technology on bikes I tend to prefer it, however have well ridden bikes with no abs which were the norm some 10 years or so ago.
Definitely like Italian bikes, the imperfections are a source of bonding with them without forgetting the looks of most which normally are great. Did started with Ducati from Diavel to two Hypermotards, have also test rode most of their models. Also had Hondas and now had BMW s1000 series. Have tested many types of all brands I always like to test ride new stuff.
My line up had S1000XR which is a great bike and a Ducati Hypermotard 939 SP which was exiting piece of semi motard and Ducati twin. This last got stolen recently.
Overcame the trauma by testing many and did well had the Tuono insight. Once I knew I didn't wanted a sport bike and also didn't wanted the Hyper again, there was the Tuono on top.
If I knew this 1100 V4 had the best of a Ducati with less of the compromises or defects I would have had one before. Problem was always getting one to test.
Now have a factory 2017 did 1000 and first service within a week. I live around the area between Switzerland, Germany and France. Reasons to love it are many I was surprised by the comfort mostly of course by its ride qualities. The sound is great just beg Akra to come up with an option for legal riding because here one cannot ride with racing systems or you lose your license.
So far have evotech engine slider and license plate holder, rizoma spirit rs mirrors, lightech axle protectors, LED blinkers. Will glue stompgrips. Did some cabling for loading battery and also used the USB pre installation to connect a BMW type plug.
So that's part of the story. Looking forward
